📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Athens – Delphi – Kalambaka (Meteora Region)
Depart from Athens and drive through Boeotia, passing Thebes and Levadia. Travel through the picturesque village of Arachova and arrive at Delphi, where you’ll visit the famous archaeological site of the Oracle. Continue to Kalambaka, nestled at the base of the awe-inspiring Meteora rock formations.

Day 2: Meteora Monasteries – Tempi Valley – Mount Olympus – Thessaloniki
Visit the mystical Meteora Monasteries, perched on towering cliffs, home to priceless icons and Byzantine art. Travel through the Tempi Valley, with stunning views of Mount Olympus, home of the 12 Olympian gods. Arrive in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second-largest and most dynamic city.

Day 3: Thessaloniki City Tour
Explore Thessaloniki’s fascinating history: visit the White Tower, Roman Forum, Ottoman Market, Church of St. Demetrius, and the Byzantine Walls. Enjoy a short walking tour including Galerius’ Arch & Palace and the Rotunda, a Roman temple turned early Christian church. Afternoon free for shopping, strolling, or seaside coffee breaks.

Day 4: Edessa – Naoussa – Vergina – Veria – Thessaloniki
Discover Edessa, known for its spectacular waterfalls. Continue to Naoussa, where Aristotle’s School once welcomed young Alexander the Great. Visit Vergina (Aigai) and the underground museum housing the Royal Tomb of King Philip II, one of Greece’s greatest archaeological finds. Final stop in Veria, with a visit to St. Paul’s Bema, the Jewish quarter, and the colorful marketplace. Return to Thessaloniki.

Day 5: Pella – Dion – Thermopylae – Athens
Travel to Pella, the ancient capital of Macedonia and birthplace of Alexander the Great, known for its in-situ floor mosaics. Visit the sacred city of Dion, at the foot of Mount Olympus. On the way back to Athens, stop at Thermopylae to see the monument to King Leonidas. Arrive in Athens in the evening.

To visit the Meteora Monasteries, ladies must wear a skirt and gentlemen must wear long trousers.
